“Cult Open” and intercultural competency in the context of integration of migrants

Session will be focused at the aim to reach the relevant information to be the base for generating the application for the Horizon 2020 supporting programme 2018-2020, in order to ensure the financing of the project. The Horizon 2020 is a supporting programme of the European Union for the promotion of research and innovation projects. Perspective will be the development of global and intercultural competency. These competencies are very important to promote the cultural understanding and to permit an integration of refugees in the daily live. The partial outputs obtained by the questionnaire applied in partner countries will be presented. At the same time discussions will take place among each other the problems and characteristics of In-migration (immigration) and Out-migration (emigrations). Following will be presentation summarizing the gained results. These results will provide an overview about culture-specific and European problems of In/Out-Migration and diversity.

E-platform for Improving Collaboration among Universities and Industrial Enterprises in the Area of Education

Session will be held in accordance stated partial project targets. The aim of the project is to design and implement a portal solution based on Internet services, which will allow to improve the connection between education process at universities and the requirements of industrial practice. Project is financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, Culture and Educational Grant Agency. The aim of this session is focus on analysing the processes of commissioning, elaborating and archiving of the final thesis in terms of the legislation and directives of universities. One of the outputs will be to set up a methodology for gathering information from industrial enterprises in line with their needs. These consist in setting up the problem to be solved in connection with the theory applicable in practice. This is to help discuss the use of electronic platforms at universities with an emphasis on communication with industrial enterprises and analysing the foundations of these platforms.

i) the main pillars and features of the Investment Plan for Europe;
ii) impacts and results so far at EU level;
iii) a closer look at investment platforms;
iv) highlights of the EC proposal of June to establish the InvestEU Programme.
