Dr. Catarina Dantas MACHADO

Bio:

Catarina Dantas Machado is Economic Counsellor (European Semester Officer) in the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal, where she works in the coordination of economic policies between Portugal and the EU since 2014. Between 2012 and 2014, Catarina was in the Directorate-General of the European Commission for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN), in the monitoring team of the Memorandum and Understanding between Portugal and the European Union/International Monetary Fund, where she dealt with the financial stability pillar of the memorandum. Between 2008 and 2012 Catarina worked for the Portuguese Securities Commission (CMVM) including as member of the Portuguese delegation of the Working Party on Financial Services of the EU Council and the Expert Groups of the European Securities Market Authority (ESMA) on rating agencies and investment management. She also worked on risk analysis in the capital markets. Between 2003 and 2008 Catarina was economic analyst in DG ECFIN, working on risk capital and the financing of SMEs. Catarina holds a BA in Management from ISCTE-IUL (1994) and post-graduations in European Affairs (1995) and Securities Law (2010), both from the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon.

 

Prof. Dr. Petia GENKOVA

Bio:

Prof. Dr. Petia Genkova is Professor for Bussiness Psychology and Head of Competence Center for Global Competence at the University for Applied Science in Osnabrueck, Germany. She is also Head of the Section for Political Psychology and equal opportunity commissioner by The Association of German Professional Psychologists. She is too Member of Board from German Academic Women Federation. Prof. Dr. Genkova is a Expert for Diversity, Intercultural Communication and Intercultural Psychology.

 

MA. Assoc. Prof. Dagmar CAGÁŇOVÁ, PhD.

Bio:

Dagmar Caganova, assoc. prof. in Industrial Engineering, former Vice dean for International Projects at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia.
She is also the co – founder of the European Alliance for Innovation in Slovakia, management committe member of E-COST ( European Collaboration in Science and Technology) TN 1301 Sci Generation, the executive committee member in Danubius Academic Consortium (academic network for Integral Innovation), steering committee member of Danube strategy PA 7 Knowledge society- science, research, inovation and ICT for the Slovak Republic.
Her professional interests, research topics and international collaborations are mainly focused on Intercultural and Innovation Management, Mobility and Smart Cities, Gender Diversity. She is the member of journal editorial boards, organiser, steering committe member of many domestic and international conferences, acts as tutor on PhD study programme and has participated in numerous domestic and international projects as team member and as the project head. She is co-editor of Internet of Things, IoT Infrastructures 2014, part 2 and Smart City 360, 2015 published by Springer. To date she has published more than 200 publications, 7 scientific monographs, 33 papers in databases WOS and 35 in databases SCOPUS and has over 300 citations, 117 of them in quotation databases WOS and SCOPUS, h-index 5.
